A walk in the surf (snowy egret)

I know, they're common & they're easy to shoot. Nothing remarkable here. But I never tire of snowies' elegant beauty. A little warm water surf doesn't look bad either, considering we're supposed to drop below zero Fahrenheit here in Vermont again tonight. I found this snowy egret near the fishing pier at the east end of Sanibel last week.

The exposure is right on and the stopped water really adds to the image.

Provia 100 @ 100, f/11, ss was whatever the spot meter on the bird called for plus one stop.

I wish they were occasionally sighted up here, I saw one many years ago at Ratray Marsh and grabbed a very distant shot which turned out very blurry, but the yellow feet were a giveaway.

Your image is very good. I like the blowing plume whispers and the highlights on the wave.
