This Sandhill Crain was shot at Bosque over Christmas at on of the crain ponds.

Jack, love the bird calling and the position of the wings. I'm seeing a light halo all around the bird, but mostly visible on his left wing.

I see the halo - it comes from darkening the sky or lightening the bird with too high of a feathering setting. I like the composition and the presentation.
