I hope this is the right species of woodpecker
EOS Digital Rebel, 75-300mm IS USM, 1/100, f/6.3, ISO 100 Well, I was out taking pictures at Longwood Gardens for their Spring Bloom (indoors of course, because it is 20 degrees here in Pa). But I ventured outside to see what I could get pictures of. I was walking along a path with my girlfriend and she whispered that there was a woodpecker in the tree. So I switched lenses and started shooting. Then the woodpecker decided to fly to another tree and I followed and got a couple more pictures. With a handheld I was happy that one shot came out and that’s the one posted. -B.P.
