(Ring-bill Gull, Scioto River, Columbus Ohio)
Nikon D100, Nikkor AF 80-200mm f/2.8D ED-IF, 1/2500 sec, f/2.8, 200mm (EF 300mm), Cloudy -1, 30% crop

This was shot last year while trying to teach myself inflight shots. I went out during my lunch break, hence the lack of nice warm lighting. Anyway, still saving up for bigger glass and doing what I can with what I have.

Even with the harsh light there is a lot of detail and the composition is vey nice. Good job.

There is no better way to practice flight shots than with the gulls. You did a great job with this one....especially with the harsh light.
