I need a change from winter birds. Taken last summer at the Point Pelee Park boardwalk. It's got to be a yawn as I shot this at about 8:30am. Almost did not notice the bird as I walked the planks. Had enough time to mount the 1.4x and get a few shots. Thanks for looking and your critiques.

Very nice enviroment shot. The open bill and visible tongue make this for me. :D

Lat,

Nice photograph. The open bill and the tongue make the shot.

Wow, his tongue looks as long as his bill. Good capture. It may be my monitor but it looks like the autofocus caught the greenery behind the bird. Still, a very interesting shot.

Latafat, I've walked that boardwalk many times.... but all I ever see is Red winged Blackbirds :(

I'm glad you caught up with it and where quick witted enough to get a great picture.

Well done!

What a cool shot. Definitely must be an early morning yawn. Nice capture of the action.
