Great Blue Heron (Venice Rookery, FL)

I thought I'd take a break from my flamingoes and post a motif shot. The Great Blues at Venice were amazing, a place a never would have found without NSN, you guys are great. Taken with 10D and 400mm f5.6 handheld

This is really nice. Great job composing so tight and keeping the bird sharp throughout.

Very well done and a good compositional choice given the tight framing.
