(Sandhill Crane) Bosque de Apache, New Mexico

I'm now into month two of my one month long series of images from my two weeks at Bosque. My intent is to make the images flow as though they all occurred during a single day. Of course, they occurred during the two weeks I was there. :)

This is the 27th post of the series. The time is now 8:13 am.

I'm very glad that I was able to post a motif image during the series. Especially since this is one of my favorite crane flight shots from the trip.

Handheld Nikon D2H, 300mm AFS, TC-14EII, ISO 400, Manual, 1/1600 @ F8.0. Full Frame.

A 10 for pointing his toes

Good catch of wing position to get the colors on the backside of the wings.
