This young Red-Tailed is the only approachable one I have found at least allowing one to shoot from a car. Croped from horizontal, darkened BG.

A real beauty ... I prefer the immatures, I think they offer so much more in plumage particularly here where you have gone with a vertical crop.

Verry nice shot Ken...I'd just like to see him a bit less centered.

Excellent image!! I agree with Harvey and feel that a slight crop off the right side does the trick. :D

I agree on the crop off the right side. This is a great example of less is more. A simple composition making for a very nice image.

Ken, this is a killer shot. Love the detail and sharpness. I'd crop from right or both sides.

I agree with the others on the crop. Very nice image of the bird in the clear. They usually birch in the middle of a tree.

Another vote for cropping a little to get him more off-centre. Very good sharpness and a great clear BG. Well done. 8)

cheers, Oliver

A gorgeous bird and I love the pose! I think a slight crop off the right makes this even better still.

Another excellent shot Ken, I would also prefer 3:2 crop ratio,
