Just weeks after putting up Bluebird houses the action was fast and furious..........it wore me out watching (and photographing) two devoted parents! Here's Dad!

Nice over the shoulder pose and the grasshopper is a great addition. If you could put a more natural looking perch in there this would be even better.

Yummy -- only nit would have to the perch but that is reaching as I'd take this shot any day.

The pose and BG are perfect. The grasshopper adds an element. A bit more USM and DOF would take it up a notch, but nice as is.

This is excellent!! The detail on the hopper is great. A crop off the left and a corresponding amount off the bottom minimizes the perch and moves the bird off center.

Nice pose, BG and grasshopper. Agree with others about the perch and it does look as if it is a little soft.

I have no nits on this at all. Nice image all the way around. The grasshopper in the beak brings it up a notch.

Wonderful photo. If i could shoot this again, I might try and position myself so the head is not against the dark BG. Love the pose and Grasshopper. A little bright catchlight would make this great image pop.
