I really liked the eye and the BG on this one. This was taken on the bridge at Bolsa Chica.

Nikon D100, Betsy (sigma 300-800) @ 300mm, 1/1600 - F5.6

Hi Jeff,

As you said, the eye and background colors are great! Scrolling up and down I also found I like this with a smidgen off the top placing the gull's left wing in the upper RHC of the image.

That is a kewl trick...the scrolling thing...I have been using paper...doh! I like your idea, a bit less busy... Thank you.

I'll second Laura's crop sugestion. The BG in the lower 2/3rds is nice.

Nice curves in the wings and boy that ring stands out well. Good exposure. I agree with you on the slight crop.

Lovely wing spread and great exposure, would have liked the bird a tad lower in frame, still very nice as is!! Congrats!! 8)
