After Sitting In A Deer Blind For A Couple Of Hours, I Started To Load Up My Truck. Glanced Up And Saw This Guy Watching Me.... Usually They Are Very Leary... But He Gave Me Enough Time To Grab The 600mm And Take Several Handheld Shots.... I Was Afraid To Take Much Time, In Case He Tired Of My Presence... I Do Love This Early Light... And He Was Bathed In It!!!! Could Only Take A Few... Not As Strong As I Once Was... hee,hee

Another Of My Enviroment Shots.... With Great Light....

1D - 600mm f4 - Handheld.. Quickly!

The light is really great on this one, John.

These guys aren't usually this cooperative.

In this case a "bird in the bush" is worth more than a "bird in hand".
I like it.

John, very sharp for hand held. The light is sweet and I might brighten it a bit.

I like the way the bid is tucked into the tree quite a bit! I'd love to see this brightened up just a touch as Alan suggested.

I Just Calibrated My Monitors, And Maybe I Just Like Darker Things.... Moods, Ideas, Atitudes... hee,hee

Kidding.... Added A Touch Of Curves. Afraid If I Lighten Too Much, I Will Lose The Golden Tones I Like So Much... Here's A Try.....

Thanks Ya'll....

Nice image, a little brighter would be good. I also would prefer a crop of about 1/2 of the space below the bird.

Well Done!
