I would have preferred a lower shooting angle but I still like the low riding view of this duck. All comments and suggestions for improvement are welcome. Thanks for looking! :)

 How do you get so close, I'm amazed; can't get within 100 yards up here in Ontario

I like the wake and the soft fuzzy head. Your speciality must be water colours, I don't know how you do it :!:

Hi Lat. I really have no idea how I got so close! I found myself at this lake frequently during my few months in CA this past summer. I think the Ruddy Ducks became very comfortable with me because they were often too close for me to shoot. :) The female seemed especially interested in everything I did! I was just plain lucky...

Nothing really to change here Laura except the shooting angle. I love how she is bulldozing thru the water!

Don't you have to be up early tomorrow?

See you in the morning.

Only a lower shooting angle would improve this, IMO. I love that bow wave. :D

Laura,

Very nice. The colors and exposure look good. The waves in the water give a real sense of motion. Excellent work.

Other than the angle being a bit high this is excellent.

I agree with the others. This is a beautiful duck in wonderful water. I do love the bow.....just wish for a lower angle but as I recall, that wasn't possible where you were.
