The perch is not ideal, but at least is thin enough to show the little bird's great talons.
Comments and suggestions for improvement welcome.

Great detail. I think you should crop it vertically and leave a little more sky above and below the bird. The angle of view is a bit steep but that's expected when you shoot a little bird perched on top of a high wire. :)

She's a beauty, not easy to get close to this species. I'm wondering if a lower ISO setting would be benefecial with the heavy crop?

This is a very nice shot. It looks like the point of critical focus was on the rump area.
