Mockingbird & lunch

From a recent trip to Cape May Point.
It is this photo that spawned my questions in another forum regarding uses of flash to not only seperate the subject from the background but in this instance to lessen the cut between shadown and light. Thanx for looking.

Nice catch with this one. I've yet to get a good mockingbird image....and there is one I see everyday at school who greets me in the parking lot. It's just that he's camera shy.

Good shot with adequate DOF of the bird, berry and white wing bars. BGs are not always the way we like it. To me, natures BGs reflect lifestyle, therfore acceptable.
