Greater Roadrunner - Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, New Mexico
EOS 10D, 300mm, 1/1000, f/8, ISO 200

There have been a lot of Roadrunner images posted this year as it was a banner year for them at Bosque. Here is one that shows the typical environment of the primary couple that was photographed.

Excellent image showing the habitat and the posture that I hoped to get but never did. Crest and tail up, looking at you, very well done.

Nice photo. You were lucky (or maybe you worked at it) to get a shot in a nice environment. 'Sure beats an OOF dirt road for a BG!

Very nice capture and the BG environment is non obtrusive. Perhaps just a bit more head room.

As usual, it's a great image. You sure were close to him to get this with a 300mm.
