European Robin

EOS300D , Sigma 100-300 F4,

While photographing Wolves at a wildlife park this little Robin wanted to get in the picture so I had to oblige!! The sun was almost setting, hence the strong lighting.

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

As I have mentioned before, I really like your use of dramatic lighting. In this case I think a kiss of fill would help in the darkest areas. Still, this is one I'd love to have in my files. :D

Very interesting light and you made good use of a very difficult photographic situation.

I agree Bill - but I had turned the flash off to stop it reflecting in the Wolves eyes and this little bombshell just popped in for a second so I grabbed the shot with the camera still set for the Wolves!! :?

I agree, a touch of fill flash may have helped.

It is a gorgeous shot...love the lighting. Alex did a wonderful job with the contrast mask to bring out even more detail. Amazing....going from wolves to little robins. Nice shot!

What a little cutie. I very much like the unusual composition with the bird looking into the distance as well as the smooth background. Alex did a great job on making this already wonderful shot shine a little more. :)
