I'm always amazed by how awkward these birds look in flight. You've managed to make this one look almost elegant! I really like the contrast of the sharp head and softer body as well as the water trail from the feet.

8) Cool shot. That's about as tight in the frame as I usually get them. Not your style at all. Looks good. :D
