Seeing Greg's close-up of the Pelican reminded me of this shot I took on Anhinga Trail.

Oh wow. I must say this is a view i've never had of a Comorant. I love the eye color. It is such a unique and beautiful green. Rarely do you ever get to see it this close and with so much intricate detail. Gorgeous shot.

Great image. How did you get that close or is this cropped significantly?

Extremely exiting...

It must be cropped. This I don't mind, but Please say so.

I'm all exited about this shot...

Awesome shot Robert. I tried a similar shot with a ground hornbill, but it was nowhere near as excelent as this, congrats.

Robert, way cool, I would only move the eye a bit towards the top left to enhance the comp.

Incredibly sharp, and colorful -I love it!

Best,

Chas

Super shot, Robert. The white portions of the eye-ring look almost like teeth. How much cropping did you do?

Wow. The blue part of the eye reminds me of a volcano. Looks like you can even seen the texture of the eye's interior.

Very colorful, very detail and very good. Interesting that you decided to try to get this in the first place. :)
