Just returned from a trip including Bosque. I had invisioned a similar shot to this and was happy to see it on the screen. I would prefer there being some extra clearance between the second beak and the lead bird's foot, but the wing postures were waht I wanted and I pushed the button.. IF I print this, I will make a little more space there. The greenish background is as it came out from the flash card. This is the first one I am posting. I forgot my laptop and am just seeing the images . We akso had some wonderful landscapes on the way, including Coral Pink Sand Dunes Park among some other things including some nice sunset shots from the highway at Monument Valley as we passed through. Eventually I will post some more after I get some rest. As it is, I have just posted this. Also shot some 35mm and med format panoramics. Now for some sleep.

I tried for this shot but didn't get one anywhere near as nice as this one. Nice going!

Yep....Bosque will really wear you out. Nice shot...I think adding a little space between the two birds would be good if you were going to print it.

Your self-critique covered it. The BG is great!

This is really cool Steve. I like everything about it and only wish for a little room between the birds as you mentioned. Looking forward to seeing more of your shots from this trip!
