Mandarin Duck

EOS300D, Sigma 100-300 F4

Hope you all had a good couple of days!! It was cold today but we went to our local wildlife park to see what was about. There was a great deal of activity on the pond, with birds pairing up and displaying to each other and chasing off rivals. Many, including the Mandarins, were busy bathing and preening - which was somewhat surprising on such a cold day.

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

I love it. It makes me reach for something to remove the droplets from my glasses.

Excellent action! Maybe just a slightly lower angle.

Very nice shot. The splashing water really makes this special.
