Beautiful shot of a not often seen bird, Jim. I saw these a few times when I was in Florida a number of years ago and was struck by what weak flyers they were, they seemed erratic in flight so to capture this one like you did is extra special!

Very nice image, great wing position. There appears to be a very strong halo around the upper right leg, though the shape of the nearby leaf may be accentuating it.
