Make Canon
Model EOS D60
Flash Used No
Focal Length 600 mm (300mm f/2.8L+2x)
Exposure Time 1/125 sec
Aperture f/9.5
ISO Equivalent 100

I would have loved a nicer background and a closer bird...but 'ya takes what 'ya gets.

Pretty bird and the non-sunlight really helps keep all of the contrast in check really well. Unfortunately that deck (Chupadera) is so high off of the water surface.

Nice light , nice bird and great exposure!!
If the angle was any lower the grasses would have blocked the bird, I think you did pretty good!! Congrats!! 8)

Very nice of the Killdeer, Dick !! I'd like it even better with a crop from the top only. Happy holidays!! :D

Nice one, Dick!
A lower shooting angle may not be possible with the tall grass, right?

Cute image. Although the angle is pretty steep you did manage to get the bird into the clear, which you wouldn't have if this had been taken from lower.

Yes it is a steep angle, but a sweet shot nonetheless. :)
