Merry Christmas from SW Florida

Nikon D2h, 300f4 AFS ISO 320, 1/1250@f5.6 handheld, fullframe

Taken this evening. A little tight, I defiantly should have been using a smaller lens at this location.

Great action shot....the timing was perfect. I have a feeling that his landing may have been as graceful as my early attempts at water skiing.

Bill :

It does not look tight to me. The exposure is fine and the action is awsome. Merry Christmas too.

The size in the frame is perfect, IMO. The pre-landing splash really makes this one for me. :D

Perfectly framed. I'd try a little selective USM around the head to bring out the eye (though it's tough, I know, in a JPEG with a big bird and little eye).

I love the colors, and have no problem with the comp/imagesize.

Bill,

This is super. Love the pretouchdown and the water drops generated. Certainly worthy of a large print. Where did you take this?
