This was shot in Bosque, where else? I love the detail and the wing position because of the nice color.

Canon 1D, 500 F4 IS, 1/1250, F8, ISO 200, Incident metering.

Well done! My only wish is that the bird wasn't turned away from the camera but a very nice shot anyway! :)

With the direction of the winds, getting flight shots with them coming at you was tough. The sharpness and detail are excellent. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Rob. :D
