You have a lovely subject. A lower shooting angle and some fill would help alot. These guys are quite tolerant to close approaches.

I never seen even a photo of these and fun to read they usually have a grouchy look because this one does! I am captivated by those legs and feet! Neat bird and image!

I never use fill flash. I have an excellent flash unit but only use it indoors for parties. In this instance, I could have worked on the darker areas of the graph with PS.CS but why? I thought the light was good here, it is even and the entire bird is lit. What would have fill flash done for me here? Please help me understand, I'm not being argumentive. I am here to learn. Thanks.
