 Horned Puffin, St. Paul Island, The Pribilofs, AK I believe I haven’t posted this before, but some may have seen it in a slide show recently. Here it has been cropped a little for web presentation. The original shows more of the black lava background, which I really like in this image. I was actually avoiding these sorts of backgrounds because I thought the bird would get lost in the rocks. I couldn’t have been more wrong! As usual, comments and critiques welcomed! EOS 1D, EF 300/4 IS, 1/800 @ f4, ISO 250, HS flash at -1 with beamer. Greg Downing
