This image was taken yesterday at the Cove Harbor Marina between Aransas Pass and Rockport Tx.

A nicely balanced image in the frame. Just a small level adjustment to add some more contrast would really make this pop IMO. A great action shot.

Great action. My only minor nit is the clipped far wing, but I bet that is tough to nail with fast action like that.

Great job of getting the head sharp on this. I would like to see the bird a little more to the left in the frame but that's really minor with great action like this. :)

Agreed, but still a wonderful image. (The digital data does you in here by showing you shot at 280mm. Just a little turn of the zoom ring, and you would have had the wingtip. I confess, though, that I very often have forgotten to zoom on the few occasions when I've done flight shots with zoom lenses.)
