Very nice Bill. I like the water reflection on the belly. I also like the water drop falling from the bill. It might go a tad brighter.

Wonderful image. In addition to the beautifully exposed bird, I like the little bits of grass/debris in the water.

This is very nice. I like it a lot. Brightness looks about right on this end.

This is a very nice Oystercatcher....and I'd love to just see one.

Question...did you do the cloning around the bill? I see what looks like edges from cloning or else something faint in the water. If I didn't have a new laptop with very bright monitor I don't think I would have even noticed it.

Yes, I did extensive cloning on the bill. I had about 50 hot pixels along the bill caused by the wetness. The bane of digital photography! I guess I am getting too lazy to make certain that others can't see my handiwork.

One thing I am learning here is that one must work very hard to keep up with you guys, this pursuit of perfection may drive me nuts!

Best regards,

Bill
