There are a number of things wrong with this image. The whites are too hot and I should have been in the ocean or to my right when I took this, but this is the kind of image I'd like to improve on when I go back. A lower shooting angle would have helped but the risk is getting saltwater on your equipment.
This was taken on Deception Island. We landed at this beach area where they were actively leaving as well as entering the water in droves. No where else did I see this type of mass activity on a beach, but it surely must occur. EOS3, 28-135IS, some crop from the top. Provia F 100. Comments and reposts welcome. Jim |
