I'm not sure what species of water foul this is, but I think that is one interesting face! Taken on the Chatahoochee River near Atlanta this morning. Comments and ID help appreciated.

Nice shot of a Muscovy Duck, Brian. These are domestic, live in many parks around the US, and each one seems to have a different color and feather pattern.

You can see why they call it "Foul" :)

That's one bummer bottom lip :)

Nice Christmas colors Brian and a nice photo.

Sandy is right, it is a Muscovy Duck-when I was in college a "bird" professor (Orinothology) suggested I shoot wild birds in addition to my photojournalism. A couple days later I came to him with four rolls of slides of these Muscovy and was quite embarrased when he pointed out the birds were domestic.

This may qualify for "Beauty and the Beast". You have a beauty of a shot of a beast of a bird!!

Love those Muscovy's. I don't think I've ever seen two that look the same. Nice job getting close. I would suggest a bit more DOF, you could afford to go to f/11 at 1/500 sec on this one and the eye would be sharp.
