lens supported on car window, full frame

Still trying to find images that show more of the "big picture" of Bosque. Don't ask what I was thinking with these camera settings. I obviously wasn't (thinking that is) :D

Your settings look fine to me. No need to stop down or anything, in this situation. I love how the birds seem to frame the shape of the tree. A truly unique and interesting shot.

Very different indeed. I like the concept and execution, even though you say it wasn't well thought out. Sometimes we like those happy accidents. :)

Very nice alternative to the blast-off shots we usually see. I really like how the birds fill in around the trees.
