Sweet shot laura. You did an awesome job on the exposure of this one. i like the inclusion of the leaves on top. The catchlight really helps this too.

Excellent image. The bird, perch, and foliage at the middle and top of the frame are outstanding. I wish the "big wood" wasn't at the bottom of the frame, but even so, this ranks with most published images of this species.

Nice! I got my first brief glimpse of one of these in May, but was not a quick as you were. Didn't get a photo. Lovely bird and background. Bird looks a little disgruntled. Love its expression. Thanks for sharing.
