Well done Mario. The colorful surrounding sure help this one a lot. The bird looks calm, which is not always easy with these guys over here.

I think the proper common English name for this bird is the Grey Heron. No matter, its a very very nice shot in good light. I would like a little more room at the bottom to avoid the feeling of the feet being cut-off.

Mario, A lovely bird, nice pose, nice sliver of habitat, great exposure and very nice detail, Do miss his feet but you already know that!!, Still, I think it could use a touch more saturation (+10) and a shift in Hue to the warm side (-2), Otherwise nit-less!!!, Very nice, Congrats!!! 8)

I like the simple, clean lines of this image. Very nice. I thought it might be improved by use of curves in PS, so I took that liberty.

Mario, this is a very nice classic shot of this bird. You do good work. Nice warm colors. You might want to take a look at the posting guidelines as its 48 hours between posts in the bird forum.

Oh my! What a gorgeous Heron. I must say that these are the most popular birds to photograph, but it's nice to see one done so well. Wonderful light and composition.! Very Nice! :D

Mario, I have to say I prefer your original post to the repost. The light is soft and the surrounding greenery is wonderful.

Very pretty with lovely details in the vegetation; and warm color. Another time would try to add more leg room. Very nice overall effect!
