Woodstorks were everywhere on HY 41 between Loop Road and Turner River Road this weekend. Literally hundreds, so I hope they're making a comeback. 10D 500f4+1.4x @ 5.6 1/500 on beanbag on hood of car. Effective 1120mm.

Looks like a cool shot but it is somewhat overexposed and has a strange oversaturated color cast to it.

Just looked at it on an uncalibrated laptop. You're right. How do you get web stuff to look normal on a plain old pc?

You can probably just tweak the colors as a jpeg and do a repost. Try "auto colors" in PS - or at least take the yellow down a little.

I like the repetition here and would love to see something with a little more balance in the color.

I love the pose that you have here....and am glad that they have come back. This may just be me but I'd like a little more DOF to get the second bird in focus. Still....a pretty good shot considering you were shooting from the hood of your car.

The exposure on the front bird is excellent. The further back bird is overexposed. This is a nice shot especially considering the conditions.
