I like this shot. Sharp where it needs to be and the blurry wing action connotes movement, action and excitement.

Rob:

I like the way the wings frame the bird, and I like the way the textures in the belly come through. The feet are a nice bonus, too. Looks like the focus is centered on the body and feet. One more dose of USM might help on the head.

Fine image, Rob. Perhaps a bit more sharpening, especially of the head.

Great shot Rob. I love the wing spread and the angle/position of the goose. A little more USM as was previously mentioned and a crop from the right with a corresponding amount off the top strengthens the composition, IMO. Very sweet as is too.

It was very nice meeting you Saturday. :)

Rob,

Very neat capture. I'd add some space in front of him and take a little away from behind him.

Nice shot, Rob. Exposure looks perfect and the pose is great. I agree that a little more sharpening would help.

I Like it -- motion blur on the wing tips is a nice touch. I second Sandy's recommendation on a touch of USM around the head.

Nice shot....I love the action....especially the wing tip blurs. I'd zap it one more round of USM. Great job....getting this pose wasn't easy.

Glad that you and your "best friend" made it home safely.

Nice shot, Rob. Given the wind direction most days good landing shots were tough. It was nice to meet you and I really enjoyed seeing your falcon. Thanks for sharing him with us.
