For discussion only, not to be downloaded for any purpose. Another bird stopping on its way to a long-established feeder that sits under this large, old Ponderosa Pine. As a perch, I'd much prefer a spruce or hemlock (anything with shorter needles). This was not a place I saw chickadees land before or after this series of maybe eight frames in one and a half seconds, so it was a grab shot--my only decent MOCH shot of the trip. Estes Park, CO, EOS-3, 600 IS, 25mm extension, 1.4x II, f8, evaluative -1/3 or -2/3, Provia F at 200 and pushed one stop. |
