This must be from last year because its too early for this kind of plumage unless things are two months early. Very nice shot.

Yes, it is from last year. I have been going over some of the over 2000 scans that were destroyed by ON Time Computer when they erased by main data disk. So now I bought a bulk scanner and it will save me months of time, when Ilearn how to use it on my SC 4000.
I will be returning to La Jolla this season again, probably several times.
Looking forward to it. Also, plans to get to Bosque in December. Brrr

A great pose for sure. One that would benefit from the tweaks suggested, but the strength of the image lies in the bird.
