Great detail and focus. Looks like a good balance of fill too. I really like that the classic vireo beak is profiled just enough to see.

Nice shot and good job on the ID. These guys can be tough to tell from Warbling Vireos.

Hi Larua,

Sweet shot, good job on the ID too. Especially since this one is lacking much of the yellowish wash below. I presume this is a fall bird. When did you get this one?

I like the inclusion of the seeds pods in the UL.

Same here, along with the softly OOF leaves still identifiable as maple leaves. For printing, I might clone out the OOF diagonal branch that points to the bird's throat, though it isn't much of a distraction.

:) I like the pose that you captured. The bird is aware of your presence but does not feel threatened. Though I'm sure it did not stay long enough for you to get many more shots.

Laura,

Excellent shot. I like the pose with the beak pointing up a little and the dropped wing.

Laura:

I love warblers and vireos in a clean but natural setting like this. Enough habitat to give a sense of place, but not so much that it is messy and distracting. Very difficult to do and you have done it well.
I think you could boost the contrast just a touch.

Very nice, Laura. I think the amount of habitat included is perfect.

I like everything about the graph Laura, especially your inclusion of the environment. Wonderful composition and spot on exposure. I don't have the patience for shots like this! Hope you will show me how to do this some day. Best regards, Bill
