I spent several days attempting to photograph these frustrating birds without a lot of success. This one was outside the unit I was staying in. I sat on the grass and waited for it to come in for water. The BG is thick vines (Sub tropical rainforest) and not the best and the bird is overflashed.
The good news is at least I have one Superb Fairy Wren in my collection. We are spending Two weeks at Bunya at Xmas so look out for a better version in 2004. Minolta X700 Sigma 70-210 Tripod (I think) Kodak EBX Flash Comments and reposts welcome
