Canon 300D, Sigma 100-300 F4 EX @ 220, ISO 200, f4.5@1/400, EV -1.

So, we finally did. Got us a couple of 300D's to play with. This is the first one I took yesterday at work. Went and sat by the river for ten minutes and shot anything that passed :)

Processed with Capture 1 and PS and I must say I'm very pleased with the results. Still much to learn with the camera and how to process it properly.

Comments most welcome and thanks for looking.

This is really nice, Dave. The reflection and concentric ripples really make this. The processing looks good too.

Congrats on the switch. You'll love it. :)

Nice shot Dave. It looks like it could use a little more work in levels for the colors to 'pop'a little more. Congrats on the switch-enjoy!

Amazing detail Dave. Would like to see a lower angle.

Congrats on the the equipment! I like the water color and the ripples. While I would also like a lower angle, I think seeing the foot through the water is neat from this perspective. I think mallards are a lot of fun to practice on. :)
