Motif -- Spring reflection in green

The Northeast got more than it's fair share of rain this past spring so when the sun finally came out almost everything was some shade of green. One early morning walking through the Vischers Ferry Nature Preserve in Clifton Park, NY I came accross this pair of Canadian Geese standing in the early morning sun on the top of a muskrat lodge. The geese were unaware of my presence so I was able to set up the tripod and shoot this beautiful pair. I love this image because almost everything as a shade of emerald.

I agree with you Dennis. The different shades of green really make this shot. The reflections are very nice as well.

Hi Dennis. I think Alan was right on... This is a very nice peaceful scene. The colors, reflections, and various positions on the birds are very nice. I might like it a touch better if there foreground grasses weren't so predominate but then again they add an interesting environmental feel to this shot. This emerald color is one of my favorites!
