Happy thanksgiving everyone.. This picture was taken in Newfoundland at Cape St. Mary's.. it ain't just seabirds there!

At the visitor center they told me that these must be Water Pipits, not sure what's the difference between the American and Water Pipit. Anyone?

Water Pipit was the name used for this species prior to it being called American Pipit so they are one in the same.

Nice image that would be nicer with a crop off the top.

Excellent shot, Attila. I agree with the top-crop suggestion.

I love it as posted. sometimes, balance is not so important and the composition gets more attention when picture is not perfect.

Attila,

Nice shot. I too would consider cropping the top and perhaps a little more USM.

Very nice bird. Cropping the image some would give it more impact.

Attila,

Nice pose, perch and BG. Cropping the green at the top would help.

Love this little birdie - the stone perch and the subtle contrast in BG colors to the bird. Wonderful!

Lovely, but I agree with cropping the green from the top.

I agree with a bit of a crop off the top.... just down to where the rock intersects with the frame and then a tad off of the right to bring it back to a bit more rectangle. The bird would still be in the lower left which I feel is a very appealing composition. Really nice image!

Lovely shot. I do think it is stronger with the crop as suggested.
