Black-necked Stilt, Kissimmee, FL

Another favorite of mine, partly because of the cuteness factor but more because it’s unusual to see one this young swimming in the water.

We are off to the Bosque early in the morning for 2 weeks of fun (and sun from what I am told). We are looking forward to seeing many folks from NSN there on the weekend. Saturday will be great fun with approximately 50 in attendance between our group and Artie’s.

This one will be in the show so you can see it 100X life-size ;)

Comments and critiques welcomed.

Hey Greg,
Awsome shot! I love the water and I don't think a bird could be any more appealing.

I'm not sure this fully qualifies for the Motif. The Motif is Personal Favorites. This is almost everybody's favorite. I know it's one of mine. :D

Sweet, sweet, killer of a shot!!!

Greg,

A perfect image. Calm water and all aspects of the bird are right on. Well done!

Stunning. Excellent image and I love the drop of water on the bill and how silky the water looks.

Magical image Greg. The Stilt is great without the water but that water is out of this world. Hard to describe how good this one really is.
