Lovely portrait, Matt !! I adore seeing the facial markings so well. The shine on its beak is a tad distracting. Love the beautiful eye, too !!!

Very intimate and lovely pose. Whites look a touch hot but not sure how youd' fix this without throwing the front too dark.

What a beautiful bird! I really like the composition but I also wish the bill shine wasn't so evident. I wonder if using the linear conversion combination technique would help tone down the bright whites here. I really like the intimacy of this image.
