Winter hairy woodpecker

I was digging thru some shots from last winter when I came across this male hairy woodpecker. It was taken on an overcast day with light snow flurries. This guy has been a regular to my suet feeder in my backyard and I hope to get more shots of him this winter.

This would have been perfect for this week's motif. :) I really like the little look the bird is giving you. The light background certainly adds a wintry feel.
