Motif: Sandhill cranes taking off

This is my favorite from Bosque last January. I was trying to capture individual morning takeoff images at the crane pools, and was very pleasantly surprised when my slides came back some weeks later wtih this image of a pair at liftoff.

Excellent Jim. If the lower crane had his wings up or the upper one had its wings down it would have blown the image, but they are in perfect position relative to one another.
