For those of you who enjoy rising to a challenge, NatureScapes.Net is providing an optional Image Motif, or featured theme, each week!

11/1-11/7 - Uncommon images of common subjects - share your photos of somewhat common birds that you feel show the subject in a unique way

11/8-11/14 - From a hide or blind - Avian images you were able to capture while hidden from your subject

11/15-11/21 - Out of the box - Using different technical or artistic techniques, share those creative images

11/22-11/28 - Personal favorites - Whether it's your favorite subject, the story of how you were able to capture the image, or it's simply one of your favorite images

The spirit of this challenge is for fun, and as has been stated previously, participation is purely optional at any time. You may identify your post with "Motif" preceding your text in the subject line.

Please note that posting guidelines will not be modified in any way; you may feel free to post images that fit within the theme or ones that do not. This will not affect the Images of the Week selections. Only one image per week per gallery will be selected from all the images posted whether they are posted as a motif/featured subject photo or other. How they meet the weekly motif will not be taken into consideration when choosing an Image of the Week.
