This chick was waiting for the parent perched on a branch above it for a morsel. Cranked the flash fill back to get some backlighting. Cloned a branch above the chick and saturated slightly.

Angle works for me and I very much like everything about the image. One question, was there a branch far in the foreground or did you apply a contrast mask ?

Brian,

No FG branch and no contrast mask. The only cloning was an upper left in focus branch that was removed.
