As Chas mentioned in an earlier post.... there were quite a few photographers at Jamaca Bay yesterday! Fortunately there were plenty of birds to go around as well. The light didn't cooperate as most had hoped for in the morning but cleared out as the day went on.
I shot this curious little guy early on when it was overcast adding a touch of fill flash. Thanks for looking.
Canon 1D, 600f4.0, 1.4X, AV-1/3, fill at -1 2/3, ISO 250

It's hard to pull off a front view shot of any bird (well, except for owls), but you really did it here. This shot has a lot going for it : the curious look, low angle, raised foot, and beads of dew on the grass.
