I have not seen one of these before, not even a captive one. A very nice portrait. I think I would brighten it up just a tad.

Wonderful bird that I almost got to see in Germany last year!!, Very few come to Germany to nest anymore, one of their biggest concentrations is within Poland proper, Magnificent bird!!
The pose is great, a little more room on top and a Little less on the bottom, Levels could help as well, just a little tweaking can make it sing!! Very nice, Congrats!!! 8)

Cool bird and a nice shot. I agree it could be brighter but also I would like to see a touch more room in front of the bird. Love the green!

I have photographed these several times in Greece, but have never been fortunate enough to get this close. A little more space infront of the stork would, I think, improve the composition. Otherwise an exceptional portrait, very well done.

While you're adjusting the levels for everyone else, could you sharpen it a tad more for me? :?: I've never seen one of these. Thanks for showing it. :D Everything else you've heard before.

Good suggestions have been given. It is a nice shot....and yet another bird that I'm unfamiliar with. I do find the birds of other countries very interesting so I hope you post more.

Wow,
what a really cool shot! Great pose and composition. I'll bet that you could bring out a but more detail using curves in PS. Nice one! ;)

A very nice portrait of a bird I have not seen. I hope you keep posting the birds from eastern Europe.

Very nice portrait. I agree that a little lighter and a bit more USM would make it pop.
